Biography.

23 year old Chris Cox is a unique force when it comes to mind-reading entertainment. He already has a string of accolades under his belt including a 5 star, award winning Edinburgh Fringe show that was a total sell out in 2007, numerous TV and Radio appearance and a one off West End production of his show ‘Everything Happens For A Reason.'

He is, according to The Guardian, 'One of the most exciting entertainers in Britain,' and 'Does tricks that would make Jesus proud.' (Time Out.)

An accomplished performer, Chris brings contemporary mind reading, multimedia technology, magic, illusion, humour and out of this world entertainment. With over 12 years performing experience Chris has gained an award, must see show listings, four and five star reviews, sell out performances and masses of media interest with the recent performances of Everything Happens For A Reason, in which Chris takes elements of traditional mind-reading, fuses them with comedy and produces a highly-entertaining and very funny cutting edge show.

Chris became interested in magic at the age of six, when he received a Paul Daniels Magic Set as a gift. Ten years later and he had been gripped by the psychological aspect of magic, specifically mind-reading, without actually being able to read minds. Now, still just 23 year’s old, Chris has honed his skills performing on TV shows including Comic Relief, Live & Kicking, The Big Breakfast and The Seven O’ Clock News. In 2004, Chris was spotted by BBC Radio 1 producers whilst performing in Bristol and Glastonbury and was quickly signed up as the top UK radio station’s Resident Magician, devising tricks and delighting audiences alongside Chris Moyles, Colin Murray, Annie Mac, Edith Bowman and Jo Whiley. More recently, Chris has worked with the likes of Russell Brand and Ricky Gervais and has been referred to as “…a young, laid-back Derren Brown…”, with the ever-modest Chris adding “…but better looking… and funnier!”

His wizardry can also be heard on now BBC Radio 1, where he pops up on Switch, The Chris Moyles Show and Colin Murray, as well as presenting his own 'One Click Edinburgh Film Festival', 'One Click Magic' and 'One Click Las Vegas' (which he also produced). He also used to perform magic on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast.

On the production side, his credits include Assistant Producer on The Chris Moyles (BBC Radio 1), Big Toe Radio Show (BBC 7), producer of a stand up comedy documentary with Russell Brand and Russell Howard on BBC Radio 1 and Producer on Eddie Large (BBC Radio Bristol). He's also worked on the The Chris Moyles Red Nose Rally and Rallyoke, BBC R1 Christmas Show & R1 Chart Show Live

Chris is currently developing on several mind-reading projects for TV and radio along with a 2008 Edinburgh Show, and touring his 2007 show Everything Happens For A Reason.
